Earltown Church Cemetery Company

About Us

Our Mission

The Earltown Church Cemetery Company is a registered Canadian nonprofit organization (Registry ID: 872221668RR0001) dedicated to the perpetual care, preservation, and documentation of historic cemetery sites in the Earltown district of Colchester County, Nova Scotia.

We serve as guardians of sacred ground β€” the final resting places of the Scottish pioneer families who shaped this community beginning in 1813. Our work ensures their memory endures through careful maintenance, detailed historical records, and active community engagement.

Our Vision

To ensure that the burial sites of Earltown's early Scottish pioneers are maintained, accessible, and honored for generations to come β€” serving as living monuments to the courage, faith, and perseverance of Nova Scotia's founding families.
